Wander down George Street and sample the lively cafe culture whilst dipping into the fabulous independent boutiques and designer shops along the way, and then take a step back in time by exploring the Old Town and getting lost in a myriad of small cobbled alley-ways.

There are plenty of things to keep children of all ages occupied, from Edinburgh Zoo, always a big favourite for all the family, to the many excellent museums and galleries and , of course, Edinburgh Castle.
