Edinburgh's sporting arenas include the famous Murrayfield Stadium, home to Scottish rugby. The city's two rival football teams Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian play their games at Easter Road and Tynecastle.

• Murrayfield Ice Rink
  The largest permanently seated indoor arena stadium in Scotland. The Rink has hosted major boxing, wrestling, ice speedway, ice shows, concerts, basketball and dance events. Regular skating sessions and lessons are available
• Midlothian Snowsports Centre
  The dry slopes just outside Edinburgh can provide an exciting alternative to urban entertainment. The longest artificial slope for skiers and boarders in Britain is 400m long and served by a chairlift and a t-bar. The slope is floodlit and open until 9pm most days.
• Golf
  There is a fine tradition of golf both within the city and over in East Lothian. Your concierge will be able to help you to organise tee times.
