The Place To Stay In Edinburgh Our luxury self catering holiday apartments are superbly situated in Dundas Street in Edinburgh's Georgian New Town. This central location is within easy walking distance of an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants, several world-class art galleries and city-centre shopping in Princes Street. On the far side of Princes Street Gardens is the medieval Old Town. The jewel in this historic area's crown is the Royal Mile. Comprising five contiguous streets - Castlehill, Lawnmarket, High Street, Canongate and Abbey Strand - the Royal Mile runs from Edinburgh Castle at its top end to Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament at its foot, both spectacularly overlooked by Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags in Holyrood Park. Other essential visitor attractions in Edinburgh include The Royal Scottish Botanic Garden, Our Dynamic Earth and Edinburgh Zoo. Edinburgh also makes a fine base for visiting other important cities and towns in Scotland, such as St Andrews, Perth, Dundee, Stirling and Glasgow, each of which are accessible by car or train in around one hour.
